Our Story
Founded in 2019, Blue Bridge House took its name from its original home studio, a blue house beside a bridge on the banks of the river Shannon in Co. Clare.
The studio has now moved to the vibrant city of Dublin where Laura creates handmade ethical products with sustainability at the heart of her practice.
Laura drew inspiration from her surroundings in the wild nature of Clare as well as her growing interest in reducing waste and changing our habits to consume differently. The Dublin seaside is now part of her daily inspiration in her work.
Laura’s creativity through textile is her way to promote and nurture a more sustainable way of life for our present and future and that of the generations to come.
Blue Bridge House is a member of the Design and Craft Council of Ireland.
Blue Bridge House was shortlisted as a finalist in the Textiles Category of the Irish Made Awards 2021, 2022, 2023 and the Accessories Category in 2024.
